spending long hours away from home, and being at the mercy of someone
else’s schedule.

credit program;
Uncommonly Sensible Science! This is a graduate course where you select the topic and the time!

This series consists of currently
six
different courses. You can
take these classes at your own pace, at home, with no
driving and no scheduled class time. You can "pick and choose" the science concepts you want to study. If you
need to strengthen a particular set of concepts, choose yours "buffet"
style! Get just what you want, not just what is offered!! The DVD format
lets you view some of the set-ups, hear them explained in a workshop
setting, then stop the DVD. But how you do your course work is completely
different than you've ever seen! You've never seen science
taught like this!
This independent course work is totally
different! Just assemble the needed points from the following menu
of items! Pick and choose what you enjoy the most, or what will
do you the most good, and what will help your kids, not just some
professor ! No writing papers you're not sure
anyone ever reads! No "pie in the sky" stuff to do that won't ever do
anyone any good at any time!!
Your independent course work includes
getting points for any of the following you choose:
a) customizing your present
textbook by placing these activities where you can use them best
b) administering the
supplied student assessment as a pre and post test to accumulate
data
c) aligning these activities
into your state's standards
d) reformatting some of
your favorite science activities into this constructivist format
e) doing fun teacher assessments WITH
your class being involved in the learning
f) selecting extension ideas
from the teacher's guide in every activity
