An integrated, three week unit is available with a multimedia and fun approach to learning about the human body! This is a fantastic subject for study and the kids get a chance to tour the body's systems through a variety of materials and fun activities. If the option is chosen, the kids can even "be the blood" as it journeys in and out of the four chambers of the heart and through the rest of the body. This journey can be accomplished with the use of The Science Connection's unique, preformed, PVC Heart Framework. It is easily assembled in the classroom, then breaks down into individual pieces to be stored away in its carrying bag till the next use. Made of durable, sturdy, PVC piping. Each Human Body Connection kit is centered around a thematic unit and comes with teaching suggestions, a book of hands-on science activities, fun to read literature and language arts selections, art project suggestions and directions, and many other selected instructional materials.
